KUNST MACHINE is launched!

After much planning, board™’s new sister company - KUNST MACHINE - is launched with the unveiling of www.kunst-machine.com.  Focusing on contemporary fine art services, Kunst Machine amalgamates the existing project management and design services already provided for galleries and artists, for the planning and production of art installations, artworks and art exhibitions.  The official launch event will take place late January 2009, in London.  …visit the Kunst Machine website

100 Artists See God - Institute of Contemporary Arts London

Ryan Board worked with curator Jens Hoffman, the then curator of the Institute of Contemporary Arts London, to design 100 Artist See God, a touring ICI exhibition curated by John Baldessari and Meg Cranston.

The dilemma was how to exhibit 100 works of art - including video art, sculptures and paintings from artists such as Martin Kippenberger, Roy Lichtenstein and Damien Hurst - in a gallery half the required size. Continuing the religious theme, board devised a shrine scheme, creating three separate shrines one for wall hanging art, one for audio and visual pieces and a third for sculptural works. board also produced and executed the lighting design.
